Well, it got great reviews, thought I'd give it a try. Maybe I can save someone else the hassle.
1st - Product is promoted as "fast and easy." Um, no. Four pages of instructions in tiny print does not fall into "fast and easy." Not in our house, anyway.
2nd - It doesn't work. Tried "quick fix" - LOL. Tried "alternate method." Nothing.
3rd - Instructions mention at least one situation where "light set cannot be repaired or its at the end of its life." Hmm. Perhaps it would be useful to know that scenario BEFORE ordering this gadget.
4th - Now I have to pay postage and hassle with mailing it back. Another waste of time.
Bottom line - throw the defective set out. Lights are cheap. If it's a pre-lit something or other, cut off the defective lights and restring. We did that in less time than we spent with this goofy thing.

i bought this for my husband who hates putting up christmas lights.he thinks this is the greatest invention ever made.it does everything it said it would.

The Light Keeper PRO is well designed, functional, versatile and actually works as described. A great product. Even when the almost magical "quick fix" failed to light one string of lights (after successfully fixing two others) the circuit testing and problem socket isolation capabilities enabled the solution to fix this string also. Of course Amazon next day delivery performed as advertised. Thanks for helping make our pre-lit Christmas tree once again deLIGHTful.
