Our headboard arrived with all parts and no damage but the "golden oak" is really much lighter than the photo shows. Had I known we'd have ordered it instread in black. It would have been perfect if a darker shade more like the photo.
This is really heavy and not too difficult to assemble but take your time and follow the directions or you'll miss the dowels or some key step and putting it together takes two people too.

This is the worst Amazon purchase I have made. I'm experienced in putting together furniture, but this headboard is junk. The wrong hardware was sent so I called and they sent out some new hardware and it still was the wrong size for the headboard. Some of the holes were not drilled on this item. Spend some extra money and buy something decent.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT LOOKS NICE, IS INEXPENSIVE, AND STURDY, YOU FOUND IT. THIS HEADBOARD WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU. IT'S YOUR AVERAGE QUALITY HEADBOARD YOU WOULD PAY TWICE THE PRICE FOR IN A FURNITURE STORE, IT HAS A NICE COLLECTION WITH IT, I DID PURCHASE IT ALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO A FRIEND OR RELATIVE.
